If UIC students have questions about learning or using English, they can visit the English Help Desk (EHD) to talk with one of our English lecturers. The EHD operates on a walk-in basis, so no appointment is needed. Students can find a lecturer at the Help Desk in T3-304 according to the schedule posted on the door of that room.

The EHD is designed to provide a way for students to get answers to any quick questions that do not require an appointment with WRC or SAP. However, Help Desk questions should be related to students' academic study as casual conversation can be taken to the English Speaking Corner. For more information and official ELC policies about using EHD, visit iSpace.

For the most up-to-date information about how the ELC can help you improve your English, search “UICELC” on WeChat and follow our official account.
